How to Build a Simple, Sturdy Greenhouse from 2×4's | Modern Builds | EP. 58

This project was a whole lot of fun and a big learning experience for me. I think it came out great, especially for a first construction-based project. The main cost incurred with this project is buying the lear corrugated paneling. A cheaper option would be to build the from the same way, but a clear plastic greenhouse “wrap”. It won’t last as long but will save you a lot of money.

For the full set of plans, check out my project on RYOBINATION , along with tons of other awesome projects and plans.

You're a good carpenter, great idea on the roof! Excellent!

Ryan has the best materials out there on the market [ Check Details Here=>deam.design/9trw ]. I was stuck while building my first wood shed, so frustrated I have to abandon that project. I'm glad to have come in contact with Ryan's building plan. It's amazing.

U.P. dan says:

Easy to tie down. Just dig some holes inside, use 2 x4 and put into the holes against the inside frame , screw against frame and fill holes with concrete. Did that with my own greenhouse and never had any problems.

stacy mirba says:

Curious why you choose to go with the white trim around the bottom and not extend the clear to the ground?

Best DIY Greenhouse build I have seen on You Tube. The web site does not have the plans listed. Maybe the video was too long ago? Is there another place to go for the plans?

StoleUR Food says:

Looks like the shelving could cause some shading problems ? Possibly use your clear panels as shelves or a clear plexiglass to let through more light ?
