well, you better make sure that you will drill the beam or studs inside the wall! personally I don't like fixing this kind of DIY thing onto the house as it could make a big mess later down the road….

Hi, I love your video and cool bed creation! I'm definitely going to make this bed. We have a re-use home fixtures and building supply warehouse near my home and this is where I'm going to find the shelves. They also have wood and paneling. I hope buying recycled materials will cut the cost of creating your great project. Thanks for this video!

Not a bad idea, but your framing is kind of sketchy. I would use 2×4's as a minimum to attach to the walls, and use 3 2×6's notched at the ends for support for the mattress. And I would also add additional support to the tops of the cabinets as they are just cheap particle board. I'd at minimum laminate a layer of 3/4" MDF shelf material with glue and screws to the under side. Running a string of LED lights (like bright Christmas lights) might help to light up the storage space better, as you could have light from all sides.

better to use 5 dollar tables! buy about 12, join them with tape and you will have great spacious bed with plenty storage space below

that space under the bed is also pretty safe for crissis, if someone get into your house you can hide inder
