Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we’ve gone about it, but we can’t promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won’t harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you’re doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you’ve seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.

Constantinos Hadjigeorgiou says:

How is this an episode? Other Channels are messing around with modifying Lambos and spending so much time and money on new and unique content and they barely reach 1M subs and you bring a Yaris and people are still watching? It hurts me to say it because I used to respect you, but if a different channel came out with this crap they would have been laughed out of existence. You guys are not original or relevant any more

Liam H says:

In the UK these are worth aprox £500-1000 … why just why did you guys buy this japshitbox

Mark Atherton says:

That's it, I've had it with this channel good buy. Unsubed!!!

Mihael Marković says:

The TS (SR) model doesn't exist in Aus? I live in Europe and I own one. It's 1.8l dual vvti 135hp and its not the fastest car in the world but I love how it handles. It came with 17" alloys, it sist 8mm lower, a bit stiffer, a more direct steering, sporty seats and of course, a bodykit. Anyway idk why you guys hate the yaris so much, mine chopped a few bmw, especially on curvy roads 🙃

Marc Birks says:

you would get that for a few hundred pounds in the UK. man thats a nail!!!! 3000 dollars though….wow!!!!

Luke Stuart says:

You need to make the world's fastest Yaris. A quick google shows 15.5 for the 1/4

Diguz91 says:

the car on which i learned to drive was a diesel yaris verso (the "minivan" one), and now the first car that i own and i bought with my own money is a brand new (well almost, got it a year ago) 1.5 petrol yaris 1.5, and trust me, it's a surprisingly good car….

Leonard Woods says:

I fitted a light bar to my mates mk1 Yaris two months ago,
Nice to see another Yaris with the same eh modification, it's cheaper than headlight restoration

Matthew Fenton says:

Louis Hicks says:

breakshot74 says:

SnobGoblin the third says:

Royalty_Stance_Nation says:

What happened to the Subaru Bat Cock?

PO DUNK says:

This one is identical to mine except the steering wheel is on the opposite side. I am putting a 2j in it.

Jose Augusto De Almeida Gomes says:

Drop a mazda rotary on this turd!

mwmmatt1 says:

3 grand!? Where I live you'd be lucky to get 500 for that thing!

Masters of the bargain as per usual I see haha

Ivan Jlux says:

This is going to be great 😂😂

Západočeské silnice says:

Yaris (SCP10 and NCP13) owner here: Regarding the check engine light, a very common problem with the Yaris (especially with the SZ engines, but NZ don't seem to be immune either) is contamination on the MAF sensor that causes an in-spec failure (i.e. reporting values that are off but not enough for the ECU consider it an error) and usually a lean code (P0171). A bit of MAF/carburetor cleaner usually fixes it. Some people also report ignition coil failures, but those don't seem to be as common.

Also, the real performance version of the second-generation Yaris is the TS with a 1.8-L 2ZR-FE making 98 kW, although I'm not sure whether those were available in Australia. 2ZR swaps have been done to non-TS Yarii (check out YarisWorld.com, there are threads about this). The 1.5-L 1NZ-FE (77 to 81 kW depending on the market and year) was in the first-generation TS (also known as Echo RS in Australia), the second and third generations got it in some markets as options (here in CZ we AFAIK only had the 1.0 1KR-FE and the 1.3 2SZ-FE). Some markets also got the 1.3 2NZ-FE and 1NR-FE and the 1.6 4ZR-FE. One diesel engine was also available, the 1ND-TV (66 kW).

Fun fact: In 1997, Toyota introduced the Prius with the 1NZ-FXE (an Atkinson-cycle version of the 1NZ-FE). Some 22 years later, this engine is apparently STILL being produced and used in the Yaris Hybrid (the brochure doesn't say so, but the displacement, bore and stroke all check out).

Cole Burkart says:

Real question is where is the outfap?

Neil Murphy says:

I love how they were saposed to buy the 1.5 power house but instead they bought a 1.3 litre dead sause

Mark Hosford says:

My mam had a 3 cylinder I litre yaris…. So count yourself lucky to have 1.3…

Veritas Originale says:
