Marty’s Mum’s Subaru blew it’s engine so with the help of Benny, we get a brand new EJ207 short block and some reconditioned heads and make an all new engine ready to smash back into the car.

Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we’ve gone about it, but we can’t promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won’t harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you’re doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you’ve seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.
Is it really that common to say Schmutz in english or is this a new Sydney thingy? :O
Like I know there are german words here and there in the english vocabulary but I have never heard this one until the Mum's Car series.
19:55 Baahahahahahah Ben you cheeky little so-and-so, too funny
Hopefully you remember to put the dip stick tube in.
You should turn the dead block into a coffee table and put it in wishbone.
Literally what happened to my spec b

Gotta say this has to be the worst and most uninformed series to date.. please stop trying to be like the club.lib.boiiz by making stupid and inaccurate “facts” and statements about cars

I wonder how many people got the glass bbq reference? Lol
I spent over 9 grand getting my last WRX's engine replaced, you'd think I'd have learned after the first time it blew up…
Benny says at 19:54 [that] Barry from Gumtree hooked us up with some good [engines] but on this occasion, he was on the glass pipe [inaudible]… Yeah mate, I heard! Cunny funt 😉
The song at the end is sooo sweet.
Can you do a live stream so I can donate money with a mad comment xo
glass BBQ LOL! meth heads
Damn Marty. I told you not to take my kids hammer
Shit, I quote $1400 USD when people need timing chains/head gaskets on the 2.5L's. (Service Advisor for a Subaru dealership)
I had a 95 Subaru Impreza. The thing took a beating and still ran like new. I had it in the shop for an oil leak around the crank shaft seal, and when the tech put it back together he didn’t use lock tight or torque the nut and the nut came loose while running. This caused the crank shaft gear to shift, destroy the crank shaft key, and throw it out of timing. Back to the shop. He put another key in the shaft, lock tight, and torque, but the key whole was so bad, it threw it out of timing again. Now I was stuck with a dilemma. It would have been a rebuilt but we had an idea. A welder friend of mine came and welded the gear onto the shaft. Put it all back together, fire it up. Still ran like new. Love Subaru. Wish I still had the car.
