Thanks. I'm now thinking of anchoring it to the wall too, so I can put my vice on it and really crank on something without lifting it off the floor or moving it.

Yes, it wasn't clear on paper how big and heavy this bench was going to be, but after I built one end piece, it was heavy! Now with three and the cross braces in pace, it is very heavy and sturdy. I guess that's what you wnat thought, I may move my vice onto this bench, so I can really have leverage.
Haha, well at least the parking brake will work now that I've rebuilt it!

That bench is getting stronger by the day, you could easily put the jag on there….be sure to put the park brake on though!!!!! How thick is the surface going to be, that piece you had looked about an inch thick?
