How to Build a DIY 3 in 1 Crossfit Plyo Box with One Sheet of Plywood

We’re making / showing you how to build a diy 3 in 1 crossfit plyometric jump box out of one sheet of plywood for your functional fitness. Save the $130 you’d give to Rogue, spend $30 on a sheet of plywood, and get some exercise while building your 3 in 1 plyo jump box. The dimensions we used for this build are 30″ x 24″ x 20″. We purchased a nicer pine plywood for this project. Pause the video at the 0:12 second mark for the layout and dimensions.

Great video! Followed it to the T and voila! even had my bro-in-law do a workout (he is heavier than I am) and he complimented my work! Keep up the good work sir! Love the shirt!

Outside Chronicles says:

Awesome video, I just made my plyo box today. Lowes made all of the cuts for me. Came out perfect. Your video and design is the best I watched on YouTube. Thanks for taking the time to make it!

Raymond Carney says:

What size screws did you use?

Joe N says:

that puzzle pattern the major brands cut the plywood into is called a box joint. maybe get a wood working book and teach your self the basics so us here in the comments don't have to hold your hand.

Very cool video, thank you! The only thing I think I’m going to add is 2×2 framing inside the box. πŸ‘πŸ»

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO

Ryan Larner says:

Great video! For anyone living outside of the US the dimensions of the cuts are – 2 x 760mm x 610mm, 2 x 470mm x 610mm, 2 x 470mm x 730mm. This should give the correct cuts out of an 18mm 2440mm x 1220mm (3/4" 8' x 4' approx) sheet of plywood. Or it did for me anyway.

busyline says:

sorry if i am wrong ,in my opinion correct dimensions of those two sheets should be 20"X24" not 18.5"X 24".pls correct me otherwise …

Carolyn Denise says:

Thank you so very much. I attempted to purchase a box and thought 3 in one meant I was getting three boxes. Imagine my surprise to see that one box cost 165 bucks. I immediately went you-tubing. You answered every question and made the process easy to understand and possible. I will upload my photo once complete

Scott Peddle says:

Just completed a box using your video. Turned out great. Some small issues with a couple cuts (my mistake), but I managed and the blueprint you have worked to a T. Thanks for the upload, you saved me $100

eric matus says:

Bro you fast forwarded over the only part that I wanted to see.

Erickson Shuler says:

Did I miss how thick the plywood is? 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch or 1 inch?

Dark Horse Rowing says:

Dude, great plan. Took me about 4 hours to finish after all the sanding. Really appreciate you clearly laying out the specific cuts as I was able to get Home Depot to make all my cuts for me and didn't even have to load a full sheet of plywood into the back of my SUV. Cheers!

11spitdms says:

What length screw did you use?

thepoopcookie says:

Super excited to make my own now! Thank you for the instructions. Just a heads up, Home Depot will NOT cut your wood down, the best they can do is rip a 4×8 in half, at least mine will not. But again, great video
