Is diy duke your dad?
Can you make a dumbbell holder?…not a dumbbell rack…a holder that holds the weights between sets?

Dude you can just buy one for cheaper.
Fun to build if you're into it. Quicker and easier to buy cheap on Craigslist.
Do you think solid half inch rod would be a good substitute for the round tubing? I have some around but my only concern is gradual bending over time.
As a carpenter who lifts regularly I have an appreciation for the diy videos ๐๐ฟnice
How about a deadlift platform
Salute this guy for recycling! Great skills dad, that knowledge and drive is for sharing please continue to motivate people out of their comfort zone.
Thank you Buff Dudes!
could this be made using 4 x 4 for the frame and then drill holes to put the 3/4 in pipe through? cheaper and easier that way maybe
Why don't you just build the weight tree on the rack like most racks have?… Or is this more of an accessory?
Would this work with wood?

Go to WoodPrix webpage if you'd like to know how to build it. Good solutions for everyone I think
This is great ๐
This is great and all, but if you don't have a welding machine I'd recommend looking on Craigslist. My local Craigslist had a weight tree for free (missed that unfortunately) but I regularly see them for anywhere from 25-50 dollars. Amazon also has new ones for 60+. Of course, if you're like me and you have a ton of scrap metal laying around, a welding machine and you actually enjoy this, then this is a fun easy project regardless. Great vid!
Excellent. Looks great ๐
