I made a card board house and kitchen for my daughter over a year ago, yes it still stands. I've had to make some repairs, from damage made by other kids, it's card board easy fixes. I added a microwave, lighting, paint, I get so many compliments on it. It took me months to finish, worked on it little by little. My daughter plays in it less now, that is why I didn't want to spend the money on a expensive play house. Kid loose interest, and on to the next!

I think I would’ve hot glued the boxes together first, then used the tape at the seams as well as over the entire length
