The water never touches the PVC pipe just the blue tubing. The PVC pipe is just to seal the air chamber so the pump works. The sizes of the PVC pipes depend on the size of the holes in the sink. I suggest just grabbing a bunch of fittings from home depot and playing with different combinations until you get it to fit.
This DIY Tiny Kitchen could be built with a typical faucet that is plumbed. There are also electric pumps for 5 gallon jugs on amazon.
