I plan on doing this around my shed. Except I will using four 16×16 paving stones to create one 32×32 space; in two separate Do I need to use paving sand, or should the river rocks hold them in place?

Won't weeds grow in the small stone? I laid down landscaping fabric under small stone and now weeds grow right in the stone and root onto the landscape fabric.

What type of fabric do y'all use for paths? I've been looking around and want something that will be able to handle gravel and be relatively thick. I haven't found a lot of useful info.

What do you do w/ all of the soil that you remove from the walkway? I assume you haul it off-site? But then what? And if you don't remove it from the site, do you just dump it somewhere out-of-sight for later use?
