DIY Backyard Patio and Outdoor Kitchen Pad in Under 6 minutes

This summer for me was exciting! My wife and I moved into our home approximately 3 years ago and we are loving the beauty of Utah. We purchased a home that was built in the 60’s and lacked entertainment area indoors. So, we decided to create an entertainment area outdoor which included a fire pit, large seating area, garden, audio entertainment, and TV!

Although it was a lot of work, and not perfect, I had a lot of fun creating our vision…and it only took 5 months (sarcasm.) We saved thousands of dollars doing it ourselves and we were able to learn a lot; like making sure you have enough concrete on your pour. Again, although it’s not perfect we are proud of the work we did with our own hands.

Enjoy.

absolutely beautiful job ! What a tremendous amount of work for 1 person. What type of stain/paint did you use for the slabs ? also, what were the dimensions of the slabs? Did you bring electricity to the T.V. over from the shed ? Would love to see the final product for the kitchen slab, again – congrats – what an accomplishment.
