I'd like to ask for your advice, pls. I would like to extend my driveway by 20×20' by 6" depth. In the summer i like to add a portable car port and instead of being held by cinderblock or sand bangs; I like to drill flat anchor hooks in the cement. So would it be wise to have the concrete cure and set then drill afters or to just drop it on top of the fresh soft concrete so drilling isn't needed? Which will hold stronger and without crack in the long run in Connecticut weather.
