Your air gap between house and patio blocks is now trapping water and will cause foundation issues and breed insects . Clearly you don’t know what your doing! Lots of hard work and it will all be a waste two years down the road

Tree roots are always a nightmare – that was the only bit we had to admit defeat on and call in the professionals in for when we did our driveway
. remove trees (which produce oxygen and fix carbon). and remove grass that mitigates floods. should be punished by law
