thanks for the great video. I have a moen system with push down diverter and lately water started coming out of both faucet and sprout at the same time. I replaced the diverter pin 1198 and the filter. still the same problem but now when I push the diverter the water gets to the shower, but still very little water from the sprout. Do you know what the problem is? I appreciate any suggestion.

I replace about 8 of these per year. on the 1225, which is mostly plastic but at the end of it, there is a bit of brass. sometimes, it looks like it's scratched or nicked, even after only 6 months or so. why is this and is there a way to fix it? I'm worried after another 6 months it'll leak again

Melody Joy says:

Yeah, but did you take it out to dinner first?

Health And Happiness 4 Ever says:

The faucet on my tub was getting harder and harder to turn and then it gave out completely causing the water to gush out uncontrollably. I immediately shut the main water supply off. I then found your video. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to solve this problem. You are a life saver! God bless you! Problem solved for $40 from home depot. The cartridge came right out. No need for a big puller! Thanks again!!!!!!!
