Eddy Lockhart says:

Where is the reo?

Albin Suljic says:

What were the bolts for?

David Ikard says:

How many yards of concrete is this? And did you have a concrete truck or mix the bags yourself?

mike 007 says:

do you guys ever use plastic??it's code here, what state you from, just curious..I do know each state is different from what and how the codes are and how people do things also.

mike 007 says:

4500psi on a shed but not a driveway were there is gunna be a big piece of equipment…???

Bobby Campbell says:

Here in Texas we out rebar in footings and on top. we also put plastic down to keep concrete from sweating. we need structure footings ss well

Chris Craft says:

do you think you could of done this by yourself? im not a troll.. this is a serious question

i thought it came out perfect..

Andres Castro says:

quick question: i'm currently getting a 13×8-4" 3000 psi patio extension with 8×12 footing and 1 #5 rebar all around , the guys just came by, removed the grass, dirt and formed the box, but i noticed the soil was not compacted ( i live in FL and this soil is soft) should i mention that or is okay to pour on top of soil like that ( using a vapor barrier ) ? thank you

Maclain Pitzl says:

Sounds like pretty good experience to me

Maclain Pitzl says:

Well my uncle has poured concrete for 45 years, my dad for 40 years and I myself for 15.

Maclain Pitzl says:

I was just stateting that having the slab even makes it stronger, which is why you fine grade before you pour, now concrete where we are at is 135 a yard. Gravel is cheaper. also you can get rebar fairly reasonable, it's probably cheaper than the fiber mesh. I'm not knocking the way you do it. Just stateing my professional opinion.

Maclain Pitzl says:

I'm with a lot of people on this. You think you'd use a base and have it all the same thickness. 4 1/2 inches all they way to 6. sounds like a waste of concrete. Also why not put rebar in it. if you've ever broken up concrete with rebar in it vs fiber mesh there is a big difference. But that's just my opinion.

Frugal Friend says:

Thanks for this video. Quick question – why no rebar?

Odell Complete Concrete says:

if it cracks and seperates as you suggest.
would you be willing to put abandoned simple wager on it let's $2,000.00
If you would like to make easy money we can put the money in a seperate neutral party account and if the concrete does as you suggest within say 5 years you will earn $2000.00
if the concrete doesn't crack and seperate I will earn $2,000.00
put your money where your mouth is another words or don't speak.

TheWiseOldChinaman says:

Thanks for the informative video – i was wondering why some people cover the soil with gravel or sand before pouring the concrete? … in fact i have seen some people covered the ground surface with plastic bags and poured concrete right over it. But it appears you have skipped that step. Is it unnecessary? Any feed back would be appreciate it.

Gary Biggs says:

6" floating slab for a shed w/ no rebar or mesh. Plenty strong. In cold weather country it can lift and settle as a unit.

Michael Stensgard says:

u guys r funny all the comments and that's a lot of bleed water

cooldog60 says:

Where I live they require a rat wall.

claudio cornejo says:

ibi nyth says:

I plan to build a 12×12 little shed… Should I use rebar or no? I'm in NC if that's important

David Odell says:

Thanks
for noticing.
It's a simple thing so why not.

Brad Fry says:

I'm impressed I wish builders were as concerned with getting things square as you are haha.

David Odell says:

40 bags 80 lbs each.
450p psi

박정영 says:

Thank you for great videos. How many concrete mixes were used?

caleb ledbetter says:

what did this cost the customer

David Odell says:

6" deep is good.
I think the psi is what you need to focus on. I would go with a 4500 psi.
