You shouldn’t put the woods against the your shed walls, either right or left side it might buck and also leave a nasty mark later!

Well done Mr Green, I would have made it the length of the shed and put a gutter on the end of it to collect all that free rainwater
so basically you have only a 2 x 2 holding the weight at the beam………I would have went with shorter beam and used full 2 x 4 .
