when you screen in your front porch what prevents the bugs from coming up threw your decking ? or is that not an issue ?
I had wanted to mention to Ashley an idea regarding her laundry chores ….you should try and find a muck bucket…typically they were used to clean horse stalls hence the term 'muck'. But they are big you could do a good amount of laundry at one time. I think you can get these type of buckets at Wal-Mart,tax stores or hardware stores….
The deck looks great! And the added bonus is you have another dry flat area to sit etc….
That tent is most definitely a whole other room for you….and a safe place for Sammy to hang out…

Love the picnic table…and as someone else said, a smaller version for inside the cabin would look great and in keeping with the cabin theme. Perhaps Jeremy could build the door(s) also similar to what they build in the Alaska cabins. With the price of wood, it may not be a savings but worth check out. Have a Blessed day.

Deck looks really great. We put sliding doors all away around our deck and we got lots of breeze and lots of windows open helps
Bubble wrap on the floor before you put the plywood on . Very good . Someone has been watching Boss of The Swamp . Just make sure that you cover up the floor with a tarp so water isn't trapped between the bubble wrap and plywood when it rains . Looking darn good so far .
That's gonna be a sweet porch…and after you get it screened in you can give the skitters the ole' 5 finger wave…lol
The homestead is lookin great.. That is a neat designed picnic table, much better than the step over.. See y'all on the next one..

I would love lots of Windows; however, unless you spend quite a bit n them, they might not be well insulated enough for Canadian winters. Great progress.
