MEN HAVE MOVED MILLENNIUMS AND MILLENNES TO CIVILIZE AND AFTER BUILDING WHOLESALE WHAT DOES IT DO?
RETURN TO BUILD CASE ON TREES!
It is OWN THAT: MAN IS INEVITABLELY LAYING TO PLANTS!

G2G says:

Are you sure your not mistaking bark for cambrium? The bark protects the cambrium layer (living part). The cambrium is the top layer of wood, that is still alive. A simple google search to edify yourself. I was just trying to be helpful. Its a nice tree house. Good luck period.

G2G says:

I noticed the "tree bolt" and was instantly in disapproval. That injury to the tree could very well cause issues for that tree. This inherently reduces the life of treehouse. Instead of piercing the living tree next time, use existing crotches and branch splits to allow a old tyre to rest in the cradle and treehouse support cables to be used in conjunction with the trees natural form. Bravo for trying, and keep up the good work!

Matt Allen says:

Wonderful … I do hope it's something I could get to see in person one day :o)

John Lord says:

Oh yeah! 10* Something like my version of ALONE, and making the same type of 2 tree buttressed tree house, (or lower floor fortified wall enclosure). Someone should consider a 1 tree buttressed tree house, my plans work quite well (even as a survival mindset construction).

This is fantastic. Near where I live (Berkshire) there's a feller who's built a Yurt on a platform up a massive old oak down by the Thames…great flood proof housing with a small coracle so's you can still get out for baccy & choc bars in emergencies 😀

Bearded Bushcrafter says:

Great Treehouse, just a shame that we cant really do these in our woods, or at least build shelters without being told to leave.
