will the tree house move to

Momo Momo says:

Damn those brackets go for $180.00 each.

Michael Vu says:

I like your design. I don't have tools to make it. Where can I buy those brackets? Thanks.

Mohamad Shokri Abdul Ghani says:

I make 8 pcs for my treehouse. Similar design. Thank you Wranglerstar.com

mrs. claw says:

Can i build that pipe structure or some thing like it without welding tools?

SG says:

I know this is an old video, but your support design is great. I am currently an engineering student and always enjoy seeing how you solve problems. Thanks the outside the box inspiration!

tightspot99 says:

I really enjoy this series. I do have a couple of dumb questions…
1. Where'd you get your big lag bolts? I can't find anything bigger than 5/8" 8 inch at Lowe's.
2. Do you know of anyplace to buy steel brackets such as the ones you're using. Or do you sell them?
3. The dumbest one yet. Is it safe to assume that a bolt attached to a tree will not move vertically as the tree grows? I assume not, but who knows.

Thanks in advance!

Daniel Moss says:

so the possibility that the tree will cause issues means that you feel safer making some super dodge brackets that have a far greater chance of braking than the tree ever did. Your nuts!

Don Spicer says:

what happen when little bars holding holding water pipe togher breaks from stress
dont look to strong

The Creator says:

you are amazing and hilarious

dallasjesuit says:

After picking myself off the ground, due to my fit of uncontrollable laughter, I had to restart the video to verify I heard what I thought I had.

"I'm not an engineer but, I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express…"

Why this phrase brought to my knees, I still don't know, but THANKYOU both for the quality of your work (videos), and for your sense of humor.

Vanaru One says:

how about a bracket on a ball joint upon which to float?

Vanaru One says:

also the tree can sway in a circular motion, not just one direction

Vanaru One says:

build it on one tree to minimize half the movement?

Steve Vargo says:

It's been a while since you posted this but the length of the bolt does not matter past a certain depth probably guessing about 5 inches. The bolt will only see a shear force unless you make it a rigid structure like you described so nicely. But I'd also recommend going somewhere other than Home Depot and you should be able to get a 1" all thread.

Jamesy White says:

I definitely should not be watching this while drunk. I'm getting ideas

G Hiller says:

How did you make the pipe bracket thingy?

PlumProductions WithPancakes says:

Sorry +Wanglerstar I forgoten the f

PlumProductions WithPancakes says:

+Wrangerstar my parent's want to build one if
we have a house

Moneyman says:

You know what they say the bigger the glob the better the job

Chris Schlievert says:

Certainly no expert, but I read that if you make 2 holes in the tree too close together, the tree will treat them as one injury, and may deal with that by rotting out the area in between the 2 holes! I don't remember what the recommended distance between 2 holes was, but the "TAB" proposed here concerns me! Not trying to be critical, but…

67foxcharlie says:

Why so technical. Take some 2×4's with 4 inch screws and some plywood. wing it. kids only play in tree house for a year maybe. geeze. it doesn't have to be nuclear bomb proof.

Winter Star says:

There are people who make those massive treehouse foundation bolts for others to buy ready-to-go….

I just searched "treehouse bolts"…for all those who want to do something like this, but cannot do their own metal work. Lots of very good advice out there online, too, from people who make a living building treehouses of all kinds.
The old advice: "measure twice, cut once", goes doubly for /rechecking/ all factors that could ditch your tree and/or treehouse, if it's done poorly.

Maddin Hansson /Vögeli says:

normal…the galvanized zinc should be grinded of to bare metal… when it goes wrong a weld can break becouse it wasnt a zinc free metal surface… for the future: a cleaned zinc galvaniced surface is also very easy to "weld" had the same troubles for my work…
hope u take it as a constructive comment =)

May I ask how to spell fur, I mean I know how to spell it ask in "a animal has fur" but not like "that's a beautiful fur tree" just wandering

David Beer says:

My only issue with having two lag bolts puncture the tree so close together is risk of compartmentalization. Ideally, you'd separate the lag bolts more. Rule of thumb seems to be a minimum of one foot vertical separation.
