Why didn't you mark the second board while you had it up there? I would have made horizontal marks where the 1st board sat, then cut the 1st board, then used the 1st board to line up to the marks on 2nd board and drawn an outline of the 1st board cut. Then you only needed to do it once.
1st board = horizontal board.
2nd board = vertical board.
Me and my friends are building a tree house got the frame laid out but were looking for a good way to lay out the floors
