Saturday afternoon my son says he wanted a sword. So I whip him up a simple little sword. Next thing you know he want me to make one for myself so we can fight. So this is what I came up with. Enjoy

I get time is precious and everyone gets complacent but how you havent been injured before is a suprise…

me and my dad are gonna make a wooden sword, a bit more samurai sword style, like the ebony blade from skyrim, so i'll keep this info on hand
@.35 might want to let your blade all the way up or completely stop before removing waste pieces. You have a push stick, why wouldnt you use it for more of your table saw cuts? Or make a better push stick? If you follow fishers shop on youtube he has a good push stick with a free template. The sword looks good but you are making a lot of dangerous cuts. One slip and you are going to have a serious accident. Table saws are no joke.

cool sword, no clue why you put the extra wood on the handle. why didnt you just leave it that thick to begin with? also seems kinda big for a kids hand

Look man, You are risking digits. If you want to show of skills on the table saw use the tools required to keep fingers attached. You look like every new guy on the job site trying to show how close he can get his knob to the blade…

Yeah Ive got like 200 Jenga blocks, no adhesive, and a freshly carved sword. Im thinkin cutting a center notch in 2 jenga blocks
