DIY Backyard Waterfall Project

DIY Backyard Waterfall Project

My 2014 summer project was to build a more realistic water feature to replace an old stream. This video starts with a slideshow of the old landscape, the construction process and concludes with a video of the running water feature.
This project required about 8 tons of rock (outcrop, boulders, river stone) to complete. No tractor was used all done by hand. Pump is a remote controlled 4000-8000 variable speed pump. Protective underlayment and 45 mil liner were used for the bed, pit and fall. Lights and new plants were added to complete the new project.
Please enjoy the video and your comments are welcome.

It looks good, many hours invested aye? Personally I'd prefer more vegetation planted closer to it as I think the amount of small to medium sized rocks make it look a little "busy", but I think this is a personal preference more than a "right or wrong". But I suppose if you did plant closer to it then I guess it wouldn't be as visible. Well done on getting it done, mine has stalled half way through construction.
