my 2019 ford escape has this never liked it
Went to look at a '20 Civic last week for my wife. It had 2 things I really didn't care for : cap-less gas tank and electric e-brake. We walked on that deal.
Tbh I’ve forgotten the gas cap on the roof before…. but I still don’t like this new design.
I looked at a car a while back, I think a Lincoln. I walked away as soon as I saw no gas cap.
Never had problems with this capless system yet. Even in the Canadian winters no issues
Someone should tell Scotty, it ISN’T exposed to the elements. There’s a “fuel door” that covers the capless filler.
Yes, we are getting lazy as a society. Think about it: blindspot monitors. What? You can't make the effort to actually look for yourself? You need an electronic babysitter?
Radar cruise control: *facepalm*……uuuuggghhh, what does a brain aneurism feel like?

9:00 always bring a machine to check the computer for codes some people flash the computer so no lights will show for a while

If worried about dirty hands get a pair gloves and stick the in the gas cap door just thin cotton gloves
