This plan has helped save me much cash [Check Details Here⇒>☞★☞https://plus.google.com/u/0/109305854848533008884/posts/j4qp7C9WysA ]. I would have bought some expensive children furniture, but now I can build those furniture by myself following the instructions here. They are so easy to understand that even a beginner will ot find it difficult using them.
I cant wait till people try to hang their own cabinets, and when its all fucked, try to put up crown molding….what a blast that'll be.
i feel likle this guy spends more time on his hair than he does installing cabinets
good work me also
thats reaal cool

First of all I am not intending to insult anyone with my comment, so I will explain why I dislike this video. For starters, walls are never straight or square, and if cabinets are installed going right into the wall without any shims to compensate the unevenness of the walls, you will end up with an uneven cabinet front line. In other words your cabinets will not be lined up (crooked). This will make your counter top overhangs uneven as well.
Then, when you turn around the corner with that corner cabinet and the walls are not square, you will get your "L" shapes completely out of square, turning your counter top seams into a nightmare.
Also depending on the size of the kitchen you should use a 6’ level or a laser level to make sure the cabinet on the far right is leveled to the one at the far left.
Starting from a corner will not get your sink centered to the window (when applicable). You need a design on paper, you can’t just wing it!
PLEASE HIRE A PROFESSIONAL!
The creator of this video is well intended but it is doing a disservice to the public by making everyone think that just anybody can put up cabinets. There is not accountability on You Tube.
I cannot say this enough… HIRE A PROFESSIONAL!
Who am I to say this? I am not a carpenter or a builder or a cabinet installer. I have been doing quartz and granite counter tops for a living for a long time, and lately more home owners have been doing cabinet installs themselves learning the craft from a You Tube Video. Ever since this fad started it has become an overwhelming challenge to make counter tops look right. It’s OK if walls are not square or straight, there are many inexpensive ways to make that look right, but counter tops are expensive and it will not be the counter tops guy's fault if your overhangs turn out uneven and your seams look like tile grout after your cabinets were not done right to begin with. And keep in mind the counter top man does not want to insult your pride if you did a bad job installing your cabinets, after all you were just trying to save a buck! You decided to learn the craft from this well produced YouTube video and if the video looks professional it is probably trustworthy, right?
to all the people who don't know what to do with the shims under the cabinets…REMOVE THEM ONCE JOB IS COMPLETE. The shim are temporary supports to level the cabinets before attaching to wall.
never once did i hear him say check for electric cables when you are drilling into plasterboard first order of business jeff is not to start in the corners but to check and mark any electric cables or piping in or around where you are drilling as stud walls often has electric cables attached to the stud beams
what about the kickboard and what are you going to do with thew shims now
Next time think about removing the handles from the sink taps and using a smaller hole saw, or better yet cap off the 1/2" pipes and install the taps after the cabinet is installed and use only a 3/4" drill bit.
but what with the shims after the install is completed? scope them with a blade and snap them? cut them with a multi max tool? nobody wants to see those in a new kitchen.
Good advice very helpful
I'm going to be doing this for the first time tomorrow and I feel like I am going to fuck up. Terribly.
Jeff did a good job. I did not agree with a negative feedback of others. He seems to be very professional.
This is stupid the way this guy installed I consider hem an amateur. #Pathetic
Easy !! I liked the pencil behind ear.Yours tools are great.
Thanks for the video, Jeff Wilson (and everyone at Buildipedia) you did a nice job 🙂 Thanks for taking time to show these things to those of us who are curious… also i would like to know what to do with the shims used to make level? these people who make insulting comments are such worthless a-holes if they're such experts why do they watch youtube videos.
That wig is not fitting him very well.
We are buying an house next year and im probably going to do some major work in not a building professional but these video do help 🙂
